Each team member takes a turn selecting a word from the dictionary that is unknown to the whole team. Everyone writes a fictitious definition for the word except the team member who chose the word. He/she writes the correct definition. All definitions are read aloud and voted on. (This encourages verbal creativity!)

An astronaut takes off from earth. A problem develops in the spacecraft. There is time left only to say three words to the base control before losing audio contact. What three word messages do you think the astronaut might send?

"Alphabet Soup"
The team will name foods in alphabetical order starting with "apple.” Each team member takes a turn and continues through the alphabet. A letter may be skipped but the food must stay in ABC order. When through the alphabet, start over with, "A." One point for each answer. No creative answers. No points if not in ABC order. For example, If a team member says 'beets' after 'carrots' they do not get a point.
